At an early age, I began my athletic journey by participating in gymnastics and soccer. However, my love for basketball took root at the age of 7. My Dad bought a basketball goal just before we were locked down during the pandemic. My dad, oldest sister, & I literally played basketball in our driveway EVERYDAY. Since then, my love for the game has continued to grow through training sessions and participation in recreation leagues & playing on the Nike Jr. EYBL circuit.

I’m a point guard that loves leading my team. As the point guard, I realize that the team goes as I go. I have to be ready to play as soon as I hit the court, & I have to have a steady mindset, not getting too high or too low. I’m a capable scorer but also realize the importance of getting my teammates involved. On defense, I use my length & basketball IQ to be a good individual & team defender. Even as a point guard, I don’t mind mixing it up with post players to grab rebounds. I try to do whatever it takes for my team to win.
My Dad always says, “Hard work works.“ There are no shortcuts. I work every day to better myself and to better the game. My dream is to play in the WNBA, & I realize that each weight lifting session, training session, & basketball game is an opportunity to get better.
